Toy Art Show Featuring Drogun/Dragorn by Magitarius

Tonight we had the opening reception show for our latest figures to drop, Drogun and Dragorn- newest from the Magitarius Labs, 2015. The show was held at Dye Pretty hair salon with the open reception during the Winston-Salem Artwalk in North Carolina.

These two characters Drogun and Dragorn are twin brothers that cause havoc all over the universe. Whether it’s fighting it out with each other or battling crazzy demons and other foes, these two are constantly at itodds on a galactic scale and caught up in constant mischief. When these two fight the heavans shake as shockwaves are spit out across the cosmos.

The thought behind these two was to make a series of figures that had interchangable parts, some parts mixed media and the others cast in resin in an assortment of vibrant colors. The heads, arms, forearms, and torsos can twist and turn from side to side.

All parts were made in house at the Magitarius Labs with the exception of several awesome, custom made capes especially for the show in a limited series by Rose. The figures themselves are around 12-14″ in height.

Hung behind them are 7 custom lightboxes build to showcase the same figures with different set-ups. All in all 12 figures were made but only several were available at the opening. Can’t hear some feedback as to which ones you guys out there like the best as these will be the ones destined for vinyl…..

Along with new figures released we also had a few giant sized wall prints and 18×24″ framed limited pieces. The Dragorn being the latest edition in that series. In addition we unveiled some of the newer shirt designs hot off the presses on super soft micro fiber shirts.

All designs have bright vibrant colors that pop off the black tees they’re printed on. All of which are in limited quantities and will be made available on our website shortly so make sure to get them while they last!

Even with all the rain we had a pretty good turn out with lots of people who came out showed some love and support. Special thanks to everyone who did come out and we hope you enjoyed the show and will keep coming and we’ll keep producing! Thanks!!!
